Terms of service

Plain terms.

Last updated 2026-08-23. These terms apply to every reel, film and monthly plan sold under the First Look name by Gabriel Homoky ("I", "me").

1. What you are buying

Short-form video made from photographs you supply or that appear on your venue's public website: the Hero reel ($590), the Monthly reels plan ($790 per month) and the Venue launch ($1,290), as described on the pricing page on the day you order. Delivery times are working days from the moment I have your material and your deposit.

2. Payment

Half is due to start, half on delivery of the first cut. Monthly plans are billed at the start of each month and can be canceled for the following month by email; there is no minimum term. Payment by card or bank transfer in USD; an invoice is issued for every payment.

3. Your photographs and your rights

You confirm that your venue owns, or holds a license to use for marketing, every photograph you send me or that I take from your public website at your request. Photographs taken by a third-party photographer are normally covered by the agreement that let you publish them on your own site; if you are unsure, ask me before we start and I will tell you which images I can and cannot use. I use your photographs only to make your reels, and the caption of every reel carries the photographer's credit you give me.

4. AI-assisted motion, and what I promise about it

The camera movement in every shot is generated by a video model from one of your real photographs. I review every frame against that photograph and remove any shot in which the model adds or changes a structure, a piece of furniture or a feature of the grounds. You receive this disclosure in writing with every order, and every concept sample carries an end card stating that the motion is AI-assisted. Finished reels carry the same end card by default; you may ask me in writing to leave it off the versions you post on your own channels, and where a platform or a law requires the label it stays. I do not put people, couples or guests in your reels.

5. License to you

On full payment you receive a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, edit, publish and advertise with the reels for the purpose of marketing your venue and your business. Because parts of the footage are machine-generated, I cannot promise that copyright subsists in every frame; the license is the thing you are buying, and it is broad.

6. Changes and refunds

One round of changes is included with every reel. If the first cut is not something you would publish and a revision cannot fix it, your deposit is refunded in full. Once a reel has been approved or published, the work is accepted.

7. Concept samples

I sometimes cut a concept reel from a venue's public website before any contact, so the owners can judge the real output. Such samples are clearly labeled as concept work, are never presented as client work, and live on private pages that are not listed on this site and not indexed by search engines; only the venue receives the link. A sample appears on the public samples page only with the venue's agreement. Samples are removed within one business day of a request to the address below.

8. Liability

My total liability under any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. I am not liable for indirect losses, including lost bookings or lost revenue. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. Questions: gabriel@automating.space.
